RuCh T’s Gunslinger
Gunslinger is line bred Tekoa Mountain Sunrise and as close as you can get to the great Hicks Rising Sun. He is one of those dogs that is stunning in everything he does. He is large and powerful, weighing 57 lbs, but athletic and graceful in movement. He runs the steep chukar hills like they are flat land. He is a wonderful all-age dog that always handles with ease; and he is a joy to hunt on foot. His offspring have been successful from the NASTRA trials to the all-age trials and everywhere in between. Their wonderful personalities also tend to earn them a spot in the house with the family.
T’s Plain White
T’s Plain White is out of T’s Gunslinger and T’s Antebellum. “Bo” is a strong 58 lb dog that showed a great ability to locate wild birds at a very young age. He is a natural front-running dog that always knows where you are at and where you are headed. He has a good nose and handles our hot rough country very well. He has proven himself on wild chukar, hungarian partridge, valley quail, sharp-tail grouse, pheasants, and sage grouse. He has a great off switch and has made us laugh many times with his casual demeanor. On more than one occasion he has settled in for a quick nap after the collars have been put on and he is waiting for the hunters to finish their preparation. However once turned loose, he is all business all day. He exhibits great strength and endurance.
T’s Rising Sun
T’s Rising Sun is out of CH Tekoa Mountain Sunrise to T’s Skyline Angel. We are very grateful to have this son of the legendary Tekoa Mountain Sunrise in our kennel. “Rip” is a strong, leggy dog with the style to take your breath away. He has a keen nose and an insatiable desire to find birds. Like all the dogs we use in our program, he has the intelligence that would have allowed him to adapt to many different hunting styles. We have enjoyed many days afield on foot with him, but are most excited about competing with this young dog in horseback trials. He has proven his ability to handle many species of wild birds and we look forward to enjoying many years with him and his offspring in the field.

T’s Jasmine
Jazz is a beautiful specimen. Built with long legs, she effortlessly floats across the ground. She runs with a high head and tail and points the same way. She has a super nose and exceptional mind. She is very easy to train and wants to be with you. Both her mother and father have proven the strength of their genetics. We feel she will contribute well as an outcross to our genetics that we love so much. Her first litter was by T’s Nickelback and are proving to be all we hoped they would be.
T’s Unjaded
Jade is a strong, fast female with a snappy gate and a tail that never comes down, whether running or on point. She really excelled as a young dog, naturally pointing and backing at a very young age. Her first litter was by T’s Gunslinger and produced T’s Quadrunner, Wynona’s Gunslinger Jewel, and Luke’s Flyby, all horseback derby winners. She produces offspring with lots of style running and pointing and intelligence to make training easy.
